Our son,Bailey was only a child when his time here on earth was done.He won't grow up here on earth but in heaven and he may not have left a legacy behind in the normal sense but he left a more longer lasting one that everyone who knew bailey will never forget.He made a difference in everyones lives that he touched,a simple smile that lifted the dark clouds,a gentle kiss that melted even the coldest heart.It has made me realise how important it is to stay strong and never let things get you down.I could never be as strong as my son bailey was,he showed amazing strength and courage that blew me away.
In Christmas 2005,Bailey's family got together and took christmas presents up to the childrens ward at the local hospital where bailey received a lot of his treatment.When bailey first became poorly in christmas 2003 he received christmas presents from birmingham childrens hospital and walsgrave hospital in coventry and it meant so much to know that people cared.The difference it made was incredible.We have also made donations to cancer research uk because without them the time we had with bailey would of been a lot shorter.We will continue to help other sick children in any way we can,we know bailey would of wanted us to.
